This program is designed to provide a pre-apprenticeship taster for learners considering a career in the Conservation and Ecosystem Management industry. Participants will develop foundational skills and knowledge essential for success in the industry.
Additionally, learners will be introduced to industry expectations and pathways, equipping them with the confidence to pursue further training or apprenticeships. By the end of the program, participants will have an introduction to the Conservation and Ecosystem Management industry and be prepared to take the next step toward their chosen career.

The course will include classes at 糖心logo入口 and practical activities in the field. Attending practical classes will provide the best opportunity for success in this course.
Whilst completing practical skills you are required to provide and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when outdoors. These include:
- Footwear and clothing
- Protective boot coverings
- Sunhat and sunscreen
- Gloves for handling materials and dangerous goods

Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course. The unit applies to individuals who contribute to workplace health and safety processes under broad direction, and take responsibility for their own work.
All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, health and safety in the workplace requirements, legislative and regulatory requirements.
NOTES:
1. The terms 'occupational health and safety' (OHS) and 'work health and safety' (WHS) are equivalent and generally either can be used in the workplace. In jurisdictions where the model WHS Laws have not been implemented, registered training organisations (RTOs) are advised to contextualise this unit of competency by referring to existing WHS legislative requirements.
