Step 1

Get started

When you鈥檝e found the right course for you, you can apply online in four easy steps. To get started, head to the course page for the course you want to apply for, select APPLY NOW and choose your application type. You鈥檒l then be directed to the 糖心logo入口 Self Service portal.

Step 2

Log in to 糖心logo入口 Self-Service

If you鈥檙e a first-time student, you鈥檒l need to create a 糖心logo入口 Self Service account by setting up a Login ID and PIN.

Current or former 糖心logo入口 students can simply log in with their existing account details.

Step 3

Apply for your course

Once logged in, you鈥檙e ready to complete your application. Check and confirm the application type, your preferred admission term (when you will start your course), then follow the prompts to complete your application.

Step 4

Submit your application

When you鈥檝e completed all the required form fields, use the application checklist to review your application and make sure all the information is accurate and complete.

When you鈥檙e ready, click 鈥榮ubmit鈥�. Your application will then be sent to 糖心logo入口 Student Services for processing.

Depending on the application type, your application may be automatically confirmed or require review by the education area. Either way, 糖心logo入口 will contact you to advise the outcome of your application and the next steps in the process.

  • What鈥檚 the difference between applying and enrolling?

    • Applying for a course is your request to be accepted into a course. Each qualification level is a new course and applying does not guarantee a place.

      Once your application is accepted, enrolling means you鈥檙e committing to your studies by selecting your classes and paying the associated fees. Your place in the course is confirmed after enrolment.

  • Which application type should I choose?

    • Selecting the correct application type when you apply is essential, as it determines available courses and associated fees. You鈥檒l find the required application type on the course page.

      If you鈥檙e an apprentice or trainee, select APPRENTICE/TRAINEE (instead of STANDARD) only if you鈥檙e registered with an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider and are employed in the industry.

      Your application will be automatically accepted into the course. To complete your enrolment, you must enrol into subjects.
      FULL FEE Fees are NOT subsidised.

      FEE FREE TAFE Fee free.
      You will be contacted by 糖心logo入口 after an application has been submitted regarding the next steps in the enrolment process. Note: you will be required to purchase materials/textbooks associated with your study.
      SPECIAL ADMISSION Your application will be automatically accepted into the course. To complete your enrolment, you must enrol into subjects. You will not receive an invoice automatically on completion of the enrolment process. If fees apply, an invoice will be generated by 糖心logo入口 outside of the Student Management System.
      PORTFOLIO-STANDARD Fees are subsidised.
      You will be contacted by 糖心logo入口 after your initial application has been submitted. If you are successful in meeting all the entry requirements you will receive details on how to complete the final stage in the enrolment process.
      PORTFOLIO-FULL FEE Fees are NOT subsidised.
      You will be contacted by 糖心logo入口 after your initial application has been submitted. If you are successful in meeting all the entry requirements you will receive details on how to complete the final stage in the enrolment process.
      SKILLS TRAINING Fees are NOT subsidised.
      Courses are usually less than 1 day in duration.
      Your application will be automatically accepted into the course. To complete your enrolment, you must enrol into subjects.
      NURSING Fees are subsidised.
      You will be contacted by 糖心logo入口 after your initial application has been submitted. If you are successful in meeting all the entry requirements you will receive details on how to complete the final stage in the enrolment process.
      APPRENTICE/TRAINEE Fees are subsidised.
      If you are entering this course as a Trainee/Apprentice under the Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Apprentice Network Provider (ANP) prior to completing the next stage in the enrolment process.
      HIGH RISK - FULL FEE

      Fees are NOT subsidised.

  • Do I meet the entry requirements for my selected course?

    • Each course page includes the entry requirements you need for acceptance into the course. These may cover previous education, age and/or experience to align with course demands. Additionally, some subjects have prerequisites, which are subjects that you need to complete before going on to another subject. These are shown on the courses page under subject information. If you do not have these prerequisites, you may not graduate.

  • Do I need to complete a language, literacy and numeracy skills (LLN) assessment?

    • Some courses require you to have foundation skills, also known as language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills. Depending on your course, 糖心logo入口 may need to assess your LLND skills prior to enrolment to ensure you鈥檙e set up for success in your studies.

      If you need help to improve your LLND skills, or would like to build on your current skills, 糖心logo入口 offers a range of pathway options.

  • Should I meet with a 糖心logo入口 careers advisor or student support advisor before I apply?

    • 糖心logo入口 offers a free career advice service to prospective and current students who are considering their course and career options, including:

      • exploring future employment opportunities
      • planning the best pathway for you from high school/college to 糖心logo入口
      • planning further study in Vocational Education and Training (VET) or university
      • general 糖心logo入口 course information and advice on entry requirements, credit transfer arrangements and recognition of prior learning (RPL).

  • Can I receive credit and/or recognition of prior learning (RPL)?

    • If you have prior skills or relevant experience 鈥� whether from work, training or life experience 鈥� 糖心logo入口 offers skills recognition to help you fast-track your qualification. This process acknowledges your past learning to gain either part of or full qualifications through a credit transfer, recognition of prior learning or a mix of both.

  • I鈥檝e applied and been admitted to my course. How do I enrol?

    • 1. Enrol in person or online

      To enrol you can attend a course information and enrolment session or enrol online using the class reference number (CRN), available either on the course web page or provided to you by the teaching department. If your selected course allows you to enrol at any time, follow the directions on the course page.

      2. Pay your fees

      Your enrolment isn鈥檛 complete until your fees are paid. You鈥檒l receive a student invoice with the due date for payment. 糖心logo入口 offers various financial assistance options for eligible students.
